We provide Montrealers with an easy and affordable way to test their water.

Instructions:

1. Fill a clean glass with tap water.
2. Place coloured end of strip in water for 3 seconds.
3. Wait 60 seconds then compare colour on chart.
4. Safe drinking water should read 5 or less.

Note:

• Do not consume tested water.
• Test strips have a shelf-life of 12 months.
• Preferably test in cold water (2℃ to 30℃).
• Please read results within 2 minutes of testing. Colour changes that occur after the 2 minute mark should be igored.

There is no known safe amount of lead in drinking water.
